Tuning Pegs!

As promised, I did get a little bit of drawing done, and I'm about halfway through with my first week of classes this semester. So far I feel like I like them all, which is good. Hm. I feel like I have less and less to say about myself, as these go on...or maybe I'm just not in the right mood tonight. Either way, it can be presumed that eventually I'll just post photos without bothering to say anything at all. Hoo. Rah.

First up. This is one that I actually did while I was still on break. I forgot to post it. Oops. Not that it's that great, and/or is deserving of going back to post...It's some girl lighting a cigarette (don't smoke, it's bad!).

Hey look, it's some shitty dogs!

I was thinking one time about the crap I used to draw all over my class notes in middle school. The answer is dragons that are horrible two-dimensional. I was curious if I could still do it. The answer is yes.

This one...I was more hoping to practice doing that weird dot-shading that i do. It failed miserably. But I did try something new with drawing the hair, and I think I like it. Yay. (Click to enlarge, as always.)

Here's some completely random faces. I have one of them facing a different direction. Hooray I am attempting to break free from the crappery of two dimensions...ish...

This next one is a true story. Except...it happens ALL THE TIME. Because this one kid is a total dickwad and doesn't know how to not interject into conversations that have nothing to do with him, every time theres a conversation held in his presence. Not only does he have to interject, but he says weird awkward, often corrective, and mostly asshole things. Uggh. This my tribute to that kid....and Tim.

Here is another drawing of much the same thing. Except it's in colored pencil instead of marker (I'm still getting used to those pesky things). Also, it involves Niloc rather than Tim (neither of which I asked for permission to draw...hm).

That's it for now, I guess. I will get busy making more pretty things, and hopefully less suck. If you stop by here by some freak accident, or I told you to...leave some love. I only just realized that the commenting thing was set to only google users...which you can do if you have gmail and all that..but I just made it open to everyone.

Don't forget to wipe your ass!

I'm Sorrysorrysorrysorry!!!!

Ok ok ok...It's been a long time since I've posted. I've been on winter break this whole time, so lots of work, and holiday bullshit, and such things as that. Not a whole lot of drawing :-/. I will definitely pick it up when I get back on track at school next week!

So first up for show-and-tell: Something I presented my grandparents with on Christmas. They requested that I draw them something...because they're grandparents like that. It's a traditional owl that I got the idea for from a tattoo. (Don't forget to click to enlarge!)Interesting fact: the necklace pendant is the 'O' from Sonic and the Secret Rings, except upside down.

Next up: Something I have my parents for Christmas. It is also tattoo inspired! A traditional gypsy. Despite its simplicity and poor coloring job, it is one of my favorites. For some reason I really really like it.

As for the one assignment we've had all break, Marc and I were supposed to draw a self-portrait thats anything except human. I chose a bag of potato chips:

The following is a random thing I drew while watching some stupid MTV programming. She looks anorexic!

As part of the Christmas haul, my parents gave me some acrylic paint (which I'm wicked excited about) and some fancy-pants markers to make prettiness with. I was trying them out for the first time and got a little overzealous...

I attempted to control myself a little, after that. It is still terrible...I shall learn to use them yet. But here is a pick-flower for you:

Ze end.
